Quartz Slab Sizes

When planning your kitchen worktops, there are a few factors you need to take into consideration when it comes to sizes.

Typically, slab sizes are 3200mm x 1600mm across the board with Quartz suppliers. However, there are some suppliers, such as Caesarstone and Silestone who offer standard-size slabs (subject to colours) which are approximately measured at 3000mm x 1400mm. Finally, some suppliers do offer a Super Jumbo size slab, which is typically measured at 3500mm x 2000mm.

Why is this important?

If you have a kitchen island that is over 3200mm long or 1600mm wide, you will have a joint in your island, this may look unsightly. Alternatively, you could opt for a Super Jumbo Slab, which allows for a larger worktop surface. The drawback here is that you will be limited on colour/ style options. You can contact a member of our team to find out what options you have.

This is also true to a Worktop Run but if your quartz worktop is longer than 3200mm in length, we will place a joint, often near the hob (as Industry standard). Please see the image below. We will make the join as seamless as possible.
