Things to consider...

It can be pretty overwhelming when shopping around for your kitchen worktops. We've put together a checklist of things to consider. Feel free to contact us to discuss your options further.

    Whether you have opted for a contemporary or traditional kitchen the edging profile of your worktop should complement the finished outcome.

  • Drainer Grooves or Drainer Slopes

    Drainer grooves come as standard with all our kitchen worktops. Please mention, when placing your order, if you would like to opt-in for a drainer slope instead.

  • Splashbacks or upstands

    Would you like a full splash back or a splashback behind the hob/sink or an upstand instead?

Drainer Grooves

Drainer groove prevent water spreading over your worktop, they guide water back into the sink preventing limescale build up on your surfaces. You can have them placed either on the left or right hand side. Below are some examples of different drainer grooves.

Edging

Whether you have opted for a contemporary or traditional kitchen the edging profile of your 
worktop should complement the finished outcome. Below are some options you can choose 
from.

SPLASHBACKS

Have you thought about what you would like on the walls once your new worktops have been installed? Tiles and glass splashbacks are a popular choice however for the wow finish 
You can have a continuation of your worktop on the wall, up to the upper cabinets.

UPSTANDS

Upstands are usually 100mm high, this helps create a nice flow from the worktop to the 
wall, more importantly they help protect walls from splashes. You can either paint, tile or

I cannot recommend Quartz kitchens enough. I did a lot of research into kitchen worktops as I wanted a large worktop for our new house as I wanted a high quality product at a good price and that is exactly what I got at Quartz Kitchens.

Cannot recommend Quartz Kitchens enough, fantastic service. I had calacatta gold quartz installed in my kitchen, the team were great supporting me getting it templated even though i had to rearrange, the guy doing the templating gave great advice and the installers were very proffesional at getting the job done. From start to finish Sonia was incredible, helping with options and guiding us through finding the perfect worktop.

Our experience with most suppliers for is that the installation doesn't meet the sales pitch, but this was not the case. The team were brilliant in templating and installing within a week - again suggesting which options to chose on the  finishing touches.

They even came back the next day to make some tweaks for us (not their mistake) without any issue.
