If you would like a thicker worktop, we can mitre the edge and this will provide an illusion of a thicker worktop. The process involves adding a strip of stone to the edge of the worktop at a 90-degree angle and this is what will give the illusion of a thicker worktop.
Marble is a beautiful stone however if this is going to be used in a high traffic area such as the kitchen then we would recommend marble effect quartz such as Calacatta and Carrara, you will get the beauty of marble with the durability of quartz.

Our experience with most suppliers for is that the installation doesn't meet the sales pitch, but this was not the case. The team were brilliant in templating and installing within a week - again suggesting which options to chose on the finishing touches. They even came back the next day to make some tweaks for us (not their mistake) without any issue. Honestly a great company, highly recommend and super happy with the finished product.
