Quartzite
Quartzite is a beautiful and versatile natural stone that is often used in countertops, flooring, and other building applications. Quartzite can be used both indoors and outdoors but with some considerations.
It is a metamorphic rock, which means it was formed from another type of rock, sandstone, that was subjected to intense heat and pressure over millions of years. This process transforms the loose sand grains of the sandstone into a hard, interlocking mass of quartz crystals.

I did a lot of research into kitchen worktops as I wanted a large worktop for our new house as I wanted a high quality product at a good price and that is exactly what I got at Quartz Kitchens. Sonia was really knowledgeable, helpful and patient and she found us a great worktop at a good price. The guys that came to fit the worktop fitted it perfectly and the overall outcome was better than expected. Our experience with most suppliers for is that the installation doesn't meet the sales pitch, but this was not the case. The team were brilliant in templating and installing within a week - again suggesting which options to chose on the finishing touches. They even came back the next day to make some tweaks for us (not their mistake) without any issue. Honestly a great company, highly recommend and super happy with the finished product.
