Quartzite is a beautiful and versatile natural stone that is often used in countertops, flooring, and other building applications. Quartzite can be used both indoors and outdoors but with some considerations.

It is a metamorphic rock, which means it was formed from another type of rock, sandstone, that was subjected to intense heat and pressure over millions of years. This process transforms the loose sand grains of the sandstone into a hard, interlocking mass of Quartz crystals.
